1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TripPlanner, a service provided by CONNECTBENCH LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.

2. Description of Service

TripPlanner is an AI-powered travel planning platform that generates personalized travel itineraries based on user inputs including destination, dates, budget, and preferences. Our services include:

  • AI-generated travel itineraries
  • Day-by-day activity planning
  • Restaurant and dining recommendations
  • Cost estimates and budget tracking
  • PDF export functionality
  • Trip history and management

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of our services, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

New users receive one (1) free AI-generated itinerary. Additional itineraries require a paid plan.

4.2 Paid Plans

We offer the following paid options:

  • Single Trip: $0.99 one-time payment for one additional itinerary
  • Monthly: $2.99/month for 10 itineraries per month
  • Yearly: $24.99/year for 10 itineraries per month

4.3 Billing

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until your subscription expires.

4.5 Refunds

Refund requests made within 7 days of purchase will be honored in full. After 7 days, refunds for subscriptions are prorated based on usage. One-time purchases are non-refundable after the itinerary has been generated.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the rights of others
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services
  • Use automated systems to access our services without permission
  • Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. AI-Generated Content

Our itineraries are generated using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated content is for informational and planning purposes only
  • Recommendations may not be accurate, complete, or up-to-date
  • Prices, availability, and business hours may change without notice
  • You should verify all information before making travel decisions
  • We do not guarantee the quality or safety of recommended establishments
  • You are responsible for your own travel safety and decisions

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Content

The TripPlanner platform, including its design, logos, features, and functionality, is owned by CONNECTBENCH LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the information you provide (trip preferences, etc.). By using our services, you grant us a license to use this information to provide and improve our services.

7.3 Generated Itineraries

Itineraries generated for you are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your itineraries with travel companions but may not resell or commercially distribute them.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results from using the services will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of any information obtained will meet your expectations
  • Any errors in the services will be corrected

TripPlanner is not a travel agency and does not book travel arrangements. We provide planning tools and recommendations only.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CONNECTBENCH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use our services
  • Any unauthorized access to your account or data
  • Any third-party conduct or content on our services
  • Any content obtained from our services
  • Travel decisions made based on our recommendations

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CONNECTBENCH LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the services shall be resolved in the courts located in the United States.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the services will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that should survive termination shall survive.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
